I've been learning PHP basics for six months and now want to dive into a framework. Should I choose Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter? My main considerations are the learning curve, ecosystem richness, and practicality. Which one would you pick and why? Let's hear the specific reasons!

Hey buddy, even though I was relatively new to the PHP world, I jumped straight into Laravel. Why? Because Laravel's installation and getting started are super easy. With Eloquent ORM, you handle database stuff with methods instead of coding from scratch, which is a huge relief. Plus, its documentation is top-notch and explains everything step by step. If you switch to Symfony, you might get more flexibility, but there are so many components that it can be overwhelming at first. CodeIgniter is simple, but it feels outdated now, and I don’t see it used much in modern projects. In the end, I prefer starting with the "most popular" option that comes my way from a young age. There’s so much issue-solving and documentation on Stack Overflow and GitHub. For example, I’m currently working on Laravel-based microservices at a big tech company—so honestly, there’s no need to worry too much. Of course, if you’re someone who loves C++ hardcore, Symfony might make sense, but the deeper you dive into PHP, the more you’ll fall in love with Laravel. 😄
