I’m in the early stages of a new venture and want to make sure I’m not building something nobody wants. What frameworks or step‑by‑step processes do you typically follow to test market demand, gather real user feedback, and assess feasibility before writing any code or creating a prototype? Do you rely on surveys, landing pages, concierge tests, or something else? How many iterations do you usually run, and what signals tell you it’s time to move forward? Looking for practical, repeatable methods that have worked for you. Your experiences and tips would be hugely valuable.

I usually start with a cheap “concierge test” – I pretend I’m already selling the product, ask friends (and strangers on Reddit) for their email, and then manually do the service myself to see if anyone actually pays 🙈. A quick landing‑page + A/B‑tested survey gives me the numbers I need, and if I get at least 30‑40 genuine sign‑ups or paid commitments I consider it a green light 🚦. Anything less and I’m back to the drawing board, probably because I’m just bad at reading minds! 😅
