Dover protest — what do you guys make of this?

So I just saw this headline pop up — apparently some black-clad, balaclava-wearing protesters blocked the road at the Port of Dover in Kent. No clue yet which group is behind it or what they're actually demanding, but blocking one of the busiest ports in the UK is a pretty bold move no matter who you are. Curious what folks here think. Is this kind of direct action ever justified to get a message across, or does it just hurt regular people and businesses caught in the crossfire? And honestly — does anyone outside the UK even care enough about port disruptions for it to work as a tactic? Drop your takes 👇
