VPS tercihinizi ne belirliyor: fiyat mı, performans mı?

Personally, I don’t even look at price first—I just need solid hardware that won’t crap out when I’m deep in a vim session with 20 tabs open. Last year I went with a provider promising "blazing-fast SSDs" only to get throttled within weeks; CPU steal time was through the roof, and my PostgreSQL queries crawled. Switched to a slightly pricier box on Hetzner AX line where the NVMe actually belts out IOPS like it should. Yeah, it costs 10 bucks a month more, but waking up without a 12-hour debugging marathon is worth the extra fries. That said, if the cheapest VPS in the list is the only one with burstable CPU above base level, I’ll bite. Happened when I deployed a bot for a hackathon: only the $3 Vultr instance had enough headroom to spin up containers without thermal throttling the whole server. Bottom line—price is just noise until the hardware proves it won’t fold under the first real workload.

Deneyimlerime dayanarak diyorum ki; benim için en önemli kriter "fiyat-performans dengesi" oluyor, kanka. Mesela ben hep RamNode’un 2GB RAM’lik paketini kullanıyorum, çünkü hem uygun fiyatlı hem de nginx + Node.js gibi şeyleri rahatlıkla taşıyabiliyor. Ucuzlukta gözüm kalmıyor ama en düşük paketi de almıyorum, yoksa site bazen takılıyor. Öte yandan, performans için SSD depolama ve yüksek çekirdek sayısı da önemli tabii. Sonuçta uygulamalarım hep yoğun olduğu için, 2 CPU çekirdeği ve 50GB SSD bana yetiyor. Kolay kurulum derken de, Debian + açık kaynaklı stack’ler kullanmayı tercih ediyorum, çünkü o şekilde her şeyi hızlıca ayağa kaldırabiliyorum. Sonuçta en sonuncu şey de marka sadakati olmuyor, ihtiyaca göre değişiyor.
