Stability's a valid concern, but a good custom ROM (like Lineage or Pixel Experience) is rock solid if you stick to stable builds. You're not some random guy flushing your phone with nightlies—just use the recommended ones. Plus, the ability to disable system apps or add features like call recording (legally in my country) is a game-changer. Sure, there's a small learning curve, but the customization and long-term usability are worth it if you're tinkering-minded.
