I still think flagship killers are relevant in 2024 if you balance needs and budget. My go-to example is the Poco F6 Pro—it's like 90% of a flagship in many ways, especially with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and 120W charging, but you save 30-40% compared to a Galaxy S or iPhone. Most people won’t notice the difference in real-world use unless they’re hardcore mobile gamers or pros who need the absolute best cameras or displays. Personally, I’d only skip a killer if the extra €200-300 for a true flagship feels justified—for instance, if I’m keeping the phone for 3+ years or want features like wireless charging or IP68 water resistance. Otherwise, I’d rather put that cash into a better processor and battery rather than brand markup. Mid-range phones are good now, but killer categories still deliver the best raw performance per lira.
