I'm curious about how the skill trees for each class in Metin2 shape the game's overall balance. Specifically, do the differences in skill cooldowns, damage scaling, and utility abilities create distinct playstyles, or does it lead to certain classes dominating in PvP and PvE content? How do you think the current system could be tweaked to promote more diverse class usage without breaking the core mechanics?
How does the current class skill progression in Metin2 impact overall gameplay balance?

Well, from what I've seen playing mostly the Warrior and Ninja classes, the skill progression does create pretty distinct playstyles, but it also ends up pushing some classes into dominance in specific areas. For example, Warrior's late-game skills like "Iron Will" give them insane burst damage and survivability in PvE grinding, making them the top choice for high-level farming. Meanwhile, Suras rely way too much on Spirit regen mechanics, which feels clunky if you're not constantly managing that resource—so they rarely see serious use in endgame PvP.
What could help balance it out? Maybe slowing down the late-game power spikes by capping max skill levels or introducing diminishing returns on skill damage scaling after a certain point. Also, giving some utility-based classes like Sorcerers a bigger buff in cooldown reduction or survivability options—right now their only real use in PvP is crowd control, which isn’t enough to compete. Small tweaks in skill interaction synergy could go a long way without shaking up the core loop too much.
