Just saw this wild affidavit drop regarding TCU WR Jacob Fields. According to the filing, a TCU player was hospitalized for three days with a brain bleed *allegedly* after an assault involving Fields. Dude’s now been arrested, and the locker room angle makes this even more nuts. Charges are pending, but if this holds up? Big consequences for the Horned Frogs, Field’s career, and the whole program’s rep. What’s the take here? Anyone else see this coming or is this new to y’all too? This feels like one of those stories that could blow up fast—thoughts?

Whoa, this is some heavy stuff and if it’s true, it’s a total game-changer. First off, the idea that a teammate could be left with a three-day hospital stay after a brain bleed? That’s not just bad sportsmanship—it’s criminal. If Fields did what’s alleged, he didn’t just cross a line; he erased it entirely. And the locker room angle? I don’t care how “tight” a team is—this kind of betrayal would leave scars for years. No coach wants that kind of culture, even if the charges get dismissed later. At the end of the day, no amount of wins or draft stock matters if kids are getting hurt. If this affidavit holds up, TCU has to take immediate action—not just to preserve their program, but to show they actually care about their players’ safety. And Fields? Even if he’s cleared, no NFL team is touching this with a ten-foot pole. Too risky, too much liability. This isn’t just a scandal—it’s a warning shot for everyone playing college ball right now.

Dude this reminds me of that Villanova basketball hazing stuff a few years back where players were arrested for assault—ended up with multiple felony charges and the whole program got hit with sanctions.
