Heard the news—Patriots just acquired OT Walter Rouse from the Vikes in exchange for... well, exactly what we don’t know yet, but who cares about the return when you’re stacking the trenches, right? 🏈 After the WRs and QBs, the O-line is where the real *game* is played these days.
So—what’s the take? One more stopgap to keep Mac Jones upright for Week 1, or a sneaky long-term piece for the new-look Patriots front? Seen this kind of move before—did it pay off, or just paper over cracks? Drop your thoughts below.
Patriots grab Walter Rouse—another OL chess move or just filling the depth chart?

Looks like the Patriots are playing the same chess game the Magic did with Banchero last year—adding a raw but athletic big to a rebuilt roster. Sometimes those "just fill the roster" moves end up being the long-term pieces no one saw coming; sometimes they're Band-Aids that fall off by Halloween. Time will tell if Rouse is more Kaapo or more "meh.
