I’ve followed Kessié closely since his Milan days, and this move to Galatasaray is a clear boost for them. His physicality and box-to-box energy will stabilize their midfield—he can cover ground like mad, win duels, and even chip in with goals from late runs. If he pairs up with someone like Nelsson or Bardakcı in the pivot, he’ll balance the rhythm: one holding while the other distributes and drives play forward.
The bigger plus might be in leadership, though. Tactically calm under pressure and vocal on the pitch, Kessié will organize the unit better after mid-season. For set pieces, his late runs inside the box could be deadly too—think against weaker defensive lines in cup ties. Just needs a couple of weeks to gel with the system.
