Okay so I've been following the US Open run pretty closely and honestly? Naomi Osaka looking locked in again is wild. She had that little wobble but came back swinging past Siniakova, and Swiątek is doing Swiątek things in Round 3. Also gotta shoutout Alex Eala — not enough people are talking about her run.
But here's what I'm chewing on: where does Coco Gauff fit into this picture right now? Feels like the spotlight is on Osaka's redemption arc and Iga being consistent as ever, and Coco kinda got overshadowed in the conversation even though she's right there in the mix. Is it just me or does the narrative feel like it's shifting away from her a bit?
What are y'all watching more closely — the Osaka bounce-back or Coco's push? And anyone got thoughts on Eala making noise this deep in a slam?
Coco Gauff's game vs. the Osaka/Swiątek vibes at this US Open 🤔
