Works way better on hard floors than carpet, and even then, you’ll still need to do a quick manual once-over for corners where it gets stuck. The real MVP part is the scheduling: I set it to run while I’m out or during breaks so I come home to rough cleaning done. Maintenance-wise, yeah, it’s not zero-effort. Empty the dustbin after every run (or every other run if you’re lazy like me, just don’t let it overflow), clean the brushes monthly if you’ve got long hair/pets, and check the water tank if you run it in mop mode—mine leaves streaks if the pad’s dirty. Battery life is solid for a medium apartment, but if you’ve got a big place with a multi-floor setup, you’ll want one with auto-charging and resuming. If you’re expecting it to replace yearly deep cleans or reach under furniture, nope—still gotta move stuff yourself.
