Пересел на электричку с бензинового форда фокуса полтора года назад, и вот какие наблюдения: С машиной на 62 кВт·ч в городе реальный запас на лето выдавал 380–420 км, зимой с подогревами и печкой — проседает до 260–280 км, но это всё равно в 2–3 раза больше, чем у моего старого Focus с бензиновым 1.6. Пробег уже 25 000 км, прироста потребления за зиму не заметил — батарея не деградирует так, как у коллег, у которых на двухлетних Leaf’ах уже по 15 % ушло. Про замену масла и фильтров забыл, только шины да колодки — как будто машина игрушка, а не авто.

Yeah, degradation happens, but it’s slow and predictable. The bigger wildcard is thermal management; charge too aggressively in extreme heat or fast DC without preconditioning, and you’ll shave years off. Compared to an ICE’s oil changes, timing belts, and gasket failures every ~150k miles, EVs just ask for a firmware update and maybe new tires. Then there’s the "minimal maintenance" myth—EVs win hard on break wear (regenerative braking > pads last forever), but motor windings? Water pump? Inverter? All those still exist behind the scenes. Gas engines feel "simpler" because we’ve had a century to refine them, but operationally, an EV’s powertrain is closer to a high-end fridge than a Detroit masterpiece. Depends on how you define "lasting forever." Where the numbers get fuzzy is total cost over 10+ years. Replace an ICE transmission (~$4k) and you’re already halfway to a dead Tesla pack (~$15k-20k).
