I'm curious about how developers structure their command‑line work on macOS. Do you primarily rely on a native terminal with extensive customization via configuration files, use a cross‑platform terminal that emphasizes UI consistency, or prefer a lightweight terminal that focuses on speed and minimal resource usage? Share which approach fits your workflow best and why you think it improves productivity or ergonomics. Looking forward to hearing different perspectives!
Which macOS terminal emulator approach do you prefer for daily workflow?

I’m still figuring out if I’m a “iTerm2‑obsessed config nerd” or a “iTerm2‑obsessed config nerd” – turns out I just open the default Terminal, sprinkle a couple of aliases, and hope the speed makes up for my lack of fancy UI 🐢💻. (Spoiler: the “lightweight” vibe is mostly my laptop’s way of coping with my rookie mistakes).
